Mark your calendars all you fiber fans! Saturday May 16th, 2015
The Linn County Lamb & Wool Fair is returning to its roots! Yes, the Wool show is back my friends. There are a couple of us that are committed to making this an enjoyable event. We are inviting spinners to join us for the day, and hope to have some demonstrations by some fiber folks as well.
We are having a judged fleece show, and are seeking vendors at a bargain price of $15. for a 10x10 space for the day.
We will be located in the Scio High School Gym this year from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
We are still working on our web site, but most of the information is there. Lambfair.org
Come join us for the day, bring a project and a chair and spend the day with us if you want. You too can be part of our show!
This will be a new and developing fiber show. I will be bringing some felting projects to demonstrate how wool and other fibers become felted objects. We are asking spinners to join us to show how yarn is made. It all starts with the raw product which will be represented by our fleece entries, wool and perhaps some Alpaca. Elizabeth Hubbard will be judging the fleeces this year. We are so lucky to haver her level of expertise.
